Adopt Process
A Quick Run-Down
The process to adopt a kitten is generally straight-forward. The only real difficulty is choosing your favorite kitten.
Optional Visit
You always have the option of visiting our cattery in person to test or allegeries or simply to get the in-person experience. We change a $50 visitation fee which is deducted from the deposit.
Showing Interest
The first phase of the adoption is reaching out and showing interest in adopting a kitten. We try to keep communication prompt and answer any questions you may have.
Deposit and Paperwork
The next step is to sign the adoption agreement and leave a deposit ($250) for the kitten and join the waiting list. The wait is rarely longer than a few months.
Choosing a Kitten
When the kittens are couple months old, we invite you to choose a the kitten you wish you take home. This is impractical to do earlier, as before that age they all look nearly identical to the untrained eye.
We understand that it is not always easy to be there in person, which is why we do our best to share videos and photos of our kittens.
Adoption and Going Home
In the next few weeks, they will mature and will no longer be dependant on their mother. You will now be able to take them to their new home.
We do our best to equip you with all the information you may need to take care of them. We provide some food, some litter to which they have grown familiar and inform you of anything else you may need.
We are always happy to handle any concerns you may have in the future.
